PATENTED GS 1 SYSTEM AND BOX. Working stages: 1. Remove the excess material from the impression (alginate or silicon), with a lancet or a small knife to create a perfect fit between the impression and the walls of the Box . (Fig. 1-2-3) 2. Insert the coded impression tray (according to the brand) into the corresponding Box.In the event of a small gap between the impression tray and the Box, seal it with plastercine, so that the plaster does not seep. 3. Cast the impression (preferably on a vibrator). As soon as the plaster has hardened take off the impression tray from the Box. Note the perfection of the finished model. (Fig. 4-5-6-7-8-9) |

4. For the lower arch, it is no longer necessary to remove plaster from the tongue zone by hand, because the zone will already be defined. The elimination of the need for model trimming marks the enormous difference between traditional casting of models and the new GS1 Box system. (Figura 10-11-12). |

To round off the sharp angles for a smoother finish in the tongue and gum zones, just use a plaster rasp. (Fig. 13-14-15-16). 5. When the plaster models are set in the J.Morita (Japanese) or SHOFU HANDY articulator, one will notice the refinement and elegance of the completed work . (Fig 17-18). |
